The DVZ – German transport newspaper reported in one of its last issues on the Centres of Excellence for Logistics and IT and the Dortmund innovation ecosystem.
Dr Benedikt Mättig, on behalf of the Centres of Excellence management team, gave an insight into the work of the centres of Excellence and explained how it complements the initiatives in Dortmund as an important building block. The two transfer projects LARS and Sustainalyze are also briefly presented, and examples are given of how the transfer of research results to the economy is achieved.
