On 12 May, a presence day in the Rotterdam Sharehouse between researchers from the Netherlands and Dortmund was originally planned. Due to the corona pandemic this could not take place in this form. Instead, this exchange was successfully accomplished through a sequence of Microsoft Teams Meeting. In three sessions, the 25 Netherlands and Dortmund researchers discussed ideas for cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and logistics and agreed on steps for further cooperation.
The result is a total of 13 concrete ideas for a deepened cooperation. These ideas range from the development of a website with case studies to the preparation of joint research proposals.
We hope that the planned date of participation will be able to catch up in autumn 2020. In the meantime, online collaboration will take place in small teams over the next few months.
