The TU Dortmund will host On 27 and 28 March 2019 the 4th Interdisciplinary Conference on Production, Logistics and Traffic (ICPLT) within the framework of the Center of Excellence Logistics and IT and together with the TU Darmstadt. The topic of the conference is “Commercial Transport – Essential Link for Production Logistics and Society”. Scientific and practical approaches and problem solutions from the fields of simulation and optimization, autonomous vehicles, supply chain management and intralogistics, among others, will be presented in 30-minute presentations. Selected keynotes will highlight the future development of logistics, supply chain management and urban transport.
The conference is aimed at entrepreneurs, scientists, politicians and representatives of public authorities from the disciplines of logistics, transport, production and spatial planning.
