The Digital Logistics Award is one of the most important awards in the logistics start-up scene and will be presented for the third time this year: Interested founders, but also any digital departments in companies, start-ups, and other idea providers in logistics can now apply. The award is presented by the Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund which is part of the innovation ecosystem within the Centre of Excellence Logistics and IT. The continuous improvement of the start-up climate, the transfer of research results and the support of young companies are some of the key tasks of the Center of Excellence.
A jury will select eight finalists from all the applications and they will then have the opportunity to present their ideas to more than 500 decision-makers from the logistics sector at the Future Logistics Congress hosted by Fraunhofer IML and EffizienzCuster LogistikRuhr in Dortmund in mid-September. The three winners of the award will receive attractive cash prizes to help them further develop their business ideas and launch their products on the market.
With this award, the Digital Hub Logistics aims to foster creative business solutions for digital working environments in logistics. Innovative digital logistics solutions are needed in production, retail, the automotive industry, agriculture and the food industry, mobility and the financial sector as well as other industries.
