ICPLT conference proceedings published

Around 100 representatives from science and practice, from the fields of production, logistics and spatial and traffic planning met at the end of March in Dortmund to discuss the future of logistics, production and traffic and to present new strategies and solutions as well as innovative technologies. The conference “Interdisciplinary Conference on Production, Logistics and Traffic (ICPLT)”, which takes place every two years at the TU Darmstadt and TU Dortmund, was organized this year by the Institute for Transport Logistics (ITL) of the TU Dortmund under the scientific direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Uwe Clausen. The event was supported by the Center of Excellence Logistics and IT.

As part of the Springer book serie “Lecture Notes in Logistics”, the conference proceedings have already been published:“Advances in Production, Logistics and Traffic – Proceedings of the 4th Interdisciplinary Conference on Production, Logistics and Traffic 2019”. The 21 contributions to the conference deal with trends and challenges in business transport, production, logistics and society. In a double-blind review process, their quality was tested, evaluated and selected by an international scientific consortium.
