Under the title “Effects of VR on Learning Experience and Success” Stella Kolarik, Katharina Ziolkowski and Christoph Schlüter, who all work in the XR-Lab team, had submitted a paper to the Mis4Tel conference, which took place in L’Aquila (Italy) from July 13 to 15, 2022. Mis4Tel stands for “Methodologies and Intelligent Systems for Technology Enhanced Learning”.
In their paper, the IML author team compared traditional and VR-based learning methods in terms of learning success and other factors such as mood, motivation, and flow.
This is the first international release of the team from the XR-Lab at an international scientific conference. It is therefore all the more gratifying that this was not only accepted but also awarded the “Best Paper Award”. Stella Kolarik und Katharina Ziolkowski received the award on July 14th. in L’Aquila.
