The Winter School for Logistics will take place in Dortmund from December 2 to 6, 2024. The Graduate School of Logistics in Dortmund is the central training program for doctoral students in logistics, statistics, data science, economics, engineering and computer science.
This year, doctoral students can once again expect an exciting program with methods of machine learning, low code, no code, large-scale prediction, three-based methods, time series prediction, automated machine learning with open source, practical impulses from industry on ChatGPT and AI in production.
In the live case study, theory becomes practice: based on concrete company data and in interdisciplinary teams, a solution concept is created for a real industrial problem. Of course, the focus is also on the exchange with the scientists on site and the other doctoral candidates.
The High Performance Center for Logistics and IT is participating this year with a hands-on workshop on the topic of artificial intelligence. There will also be a brief insight into the performance center’s labs, including an exoskeleton trial.
