At the “Researchers´ BBQ” at the end of September, the Center of Excellence Logistics and IT welcomed around 40 participants to the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics. The focus of the scientific part was on the topic of “Founding”. “Research projects offer an ideal basis for spin-offs,” says Christoph Besenfelder, head of the Center of Excellence. “That’s why we see it as our task to provide scientists with the necessary know-how at an early stage.”
Dr. Ronald Kriedel from the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Economic Education was invited as a speaker. In his lecture, he showed the participants ways from the idea to the product. In a subsequent interactive workshop, the researchers had the opportunity to immediately apply corresponding strategies.
During a barbecue, the participants reviewed the lecture, made new contacts, exchanged information on joint projects or planned publications.
